Tragic news
Its with great sadness that the commitee and friends of the Tanginerine army announce the passing of one of our players, Tyler who dad Keith was also a manager of our teams loved football and passed at a very young age. The team are paying tribute by keeping his memory and having the below added to there kit. I will share the publicly available message. You will always be in our Hearts Tyler RIP x
Hi everyone, just to make everyone aware we have now organised our beautiful boys celebration of life.
We would firstly like to thank everyone for all your kind words, messages and even flowers delivered with your thoughts.
Although this will be a day we never thought we would have to endure we want this to be as special a day as possible to remember our incredibly special little man.
Tyler was always the life and soul where ever we went or even just spending family time together at home, he will be forever missed but never ever forgotten.
With all this in mind we would kindly ask for everyone that would like to attend to only wear smart colourful clothing and/or Man United tops to remember and recognise Tyler’s love for United.
We will be leaving from our home on Tuesday 29th July 2025 around 9.30 ( 96 Broad Lane, WV11 2RG) heading to Mercia Forest Crematorium (WV11 2RJ) we will be passing and making a short stop at his Nan and Grandads (11 Sneyd Hall Road, Ws3 2NN) for the service to start at 10am until 12pm.
After the service we will continue Tyler’s celebration of life at the Short Heath Liberal club (34 Bloxwich Road North, WV12 5PG), everyone welcome to come and pay their respects and share all the beautiful memories made with Tyler.
Flowers are welcome but there will also be a donation box at the service in Tyler’s rememberance should you wish.

We require volunteers, with an FA/Cresswell DBS whom have a passion for football and helping our youth players to reach the next level.

Loss of a legend
We are sorry to announce that we’ve lost a legend of our tangerine family, our thoughts and condolences to Ian Bowen family and friends at this very sad time.. a very well respected man within our community, Cresswell through and through. We thank you for everything Ian, RIP to a great friend, volunteer, coach and one whom never missed a meeting on our behalf, gave every child every chance possible to love the game, you were certainly one of the great ones..

A message from the familys social media.
It is with great regret to announce the funeral of my Dad, Ian Bowen. It will be held at Streetly Crem @1pm on Friday 13th of September. As you all know he didn’t do things by halves 😂
The wake will be held at the Spring Cottage in Bloxwich. 2:30pm onwards x
Family flowers only and donations to Alzeimers and Cancer research on the day.

Cresswell Ex Players contiues to shine.
Cresswell Wanderers FC are proud to announce that a former player Charlie Welling is contiuing to shine. As well as playing for the national team and regular top goal scorer, She played for Birmingham ladies & Bristol City. Charlie continues to remember the time with the club. Her father Mark tells us "She still has all the trophies she was presented with as your player and they take pride of place in her bedroom" . Charlie starting her playing career with our Academy side . The Management, committee members, teams and players wish Charlie and her family every success in her future Career. Well Done Charlie.
